Meet the Team

Founder

Michael Scheff

Mike grew up in Brooklyn and Staten Island, where he got his start in the food industry working at his father’s deli on Park Avenue South. After college and time at a French restaurant in the World Trade Center, he attended the New York Restaurant School and completed his internship at Staten Island Country Club, later becoming their Garde Manger Chef.

After four years, he opened a restaurant in Florida—a valuable experience that taught him lasting lessons about business and resilience. He then worked at Cocoa Beach Country Club before transitioning into senior living, holding culinary leadership roles at Lakewood Manor and Westminster Canterbury.

Today, Mike leads Dining Services at Covenant Woods and is the founder of Woodhouse Catering.

Amber Robinson

Amber has been in the event industry for over TEN years from working with bridal shops to eventually owning a catering company. She is a self-proclaimed "foodie" that has traveled to many different countries trying new cuisines to incorporate into her own cooking. Amber focuses on making sure your event will be smooth and as carefree as possible!

Charles Rhodes

Charlie joined his role as cook in 2019 and has been a valuable contributor to many areas of dining and catering. Before joining the Woodhouse Catering team, he served as the sauté chef at Fireside Grill, where his talent and dedication stood out. Throughout his time with us, Charlie has played a key role in our success, helping us provide excellent service at each and every event.

We had excellent service from Woodhouse Catering an Anniversary party just over 50 people. We had so many compliments from our guests about how great the food was. I even had dietary requests from some of our guests that were followed. The staff was friendly and helpful during set up, for the length of the event and also during the clean up. They even helped out with bringing plates and chargers that amplified the decorations. Very impressed and would recommend them for your event.
